Penny Orrick said they house animals on their 20-acre farm and they have a mobile petting zoo.

They have animals and livestock for their mobile petting zoo such as llamas, alpacas, goats, sheep, pigs, a miniature cow and a miniature donkey. On their farm they also have turkeys, chickens, peacocks and guinea fowls.

She said the health of the animals is her top priority.

“I’ve always loved animals and I kept taking them in,” Orrick said. “I started the petting zoo so I can make money to care for them. I told my husband about the idea and he said to go for it, so I did. I really enjoy watching people in the community interact with the animals.”

Orrick said they specifically cater to events for youth including offering a mobile bunny birthday party or a pony ride party.

In addition, they often do unicorn appearances using miniature horses in parties dressed as unicorns.

On their farm, they offer Paint the Ponies parties where attendees can use washable and nontoxic finger-paint to paint the horses. An event also offered on the farm is the Bouncing Barnyard Party which includes a bounce house with the petting zoo.

She said they offer horseback riding lessons using full-size horses on their farm starting in May. Registration for the lessons starts the first week of March and the spots are filled in a first come, first serve fashion.

Orrick said the farm is not open to the public without a prior private booking. They do offer mobile petting zoo events year round. The business will host a Family Farm Day that opens the farm to the public without a booking in June and September.
