Geraldine began searching for a greenhouses for her garden after retiring around seven years ago.

“The first step taken was to convert a storage shed to a greenhouse,” Geraldine said. “It worked but was not the efficiency I wanted. It has been kept to keep as a reminder of what we started with.”

It was then she realized there was a commercial market for completely assembled greenhouses.

“We made the decision to use only the best quality material and to contact an assembly contractor that would work hand-in-hand with us to accomplish this,” Geraldine said. “So with Larry’s design along with the carpenter’s input, we started building greenhouses.”

Larry said they have made upgrades to the prototype of the structure each year.

“The quality, looks and longevity on these units will speak for itself,” Larry said. “They are totally assembled with wood and metal torque screws. There are no nails used. Our units are ready to use as soon as they are delivered to your prepared site.”

He said most sold and delivered units have been within a 500 mile radius of Beattie, Kansas, but they currently have an order being built for a customer in Pennsylvania.

This year, they also began building a completely enclosed varmint proof chicken coop using the knowledge they have gained in constructing the greenhouses.

Larry said the business offers a rent-to-own or a lease program per credit approval.
